Pink Book Terms of Use
Last updated: October 14, 2026
Welcome to Pink Book Companion at pinkcare.org (the "app"), provided by Soaring Families and Thyme and Tell, Inc. (together, "we", "us"). By using the app you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. Please read them. We have tried to keep them short.
1. Pink Book is not medical advice
Please read this part carefully.
- Pink Book helps you organize care information. It is not a medical service and does not give medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
- Pink, our voice helper, is an AI. It can make mistakes. Its suggestions are only suggestions.
- Always check medications, doses and emergency details with a doctor, nurse or pharmacist.
- In an emergency, call 911 (US and Canada) right away. Do not rely on the app.
- You and your care circle are responsible for the care decisions you make.
2. This is a pilot
- Pink Book is in an early pilot. You can join by invite or with a pilot code.
- Things may change, break or be unavailable at times. Features may be added or removed.
- Please keep your own copy of anything important. You can print your book to PDF at any time.
- We may end the pilot or your access. If we do, we will give you 14 days' notice by email so you can print your book.
3. Your account
- You must be 18 or older.
- Give us true details and keep your password private.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at mia@narrastory.com if you think someone else has used it.
4. Care circles
- A care book is shared by a care circle: owners and caregivers, grouped as Family, Team Members, Friends and Others.
- Owners can invite people to the circle. Please invite only people you trust with this information.
- Everyone in the circle can see the book. Anyone in the circle may print it.
- If you add information about the person you care for, or about other people (like contacts), you confirm that you have their permission, or are otherwise allowed, to add and share it with your care circle.
5. Using Pink, the voice helper
- Pink interviews you and suggests changes to your book.
- Suggested changes go to a pending list. They are only saved after a person approves them. Please read each one before you approve it.
- Your conversations are processed by our voice partner, ElevenLabs, and the AI model it uses, Anthropic's Claude. See our Privacy Policy for details.
6. Your content
- What you add to your book stays yours.
- You let us store, process and show it to your care circle only so we can run the app for you.
- Please only add what you need. Leave out things like ID numbers.
7. Fair use
Please don't:
- use the app for anything unlawful or harmful
- try to see books you are not invited to, or get around our security
- share your pilot code or account with people who should not have it
- upload content that is abusive or that you do not have the right to share
We may pause or close accounts that break these rules.
8. Leaving
You can stop using the app at any time. To delete your account, email mia@narrastory.com and we will delete it within 7 days during the pilot.
A care book belongs to its circle, not to any one person:
- Caregivers: if you leave or delete your account, the book stays with the circle.
- Owners: before you leave, please hand ownership to another member of the circle. If an owner deletes their account without doing this, ownership passes to the caregiver who has been in the circle the longest.
- Empty circles: if no members remain, the book is deleted after 30 days.
9. Our responsibility
We work hard to keep Pink Book useful and safe, but it is a pilot.
- The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises or warranties that it will always work, be error-free, or be accurate, including anything Pink suggests.
- To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or unexpected losses, or for loss of data, that come from using the app or not being able to use it. Our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid us to use the app in the last 12 months (if any).
- Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law where you live (in the US or Canada) that cannot be limited.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and tell you by email before big changes take effect.
11. Law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA. Any dispute will be handled by the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York. If you live in Canada (or anywhere else your local law gives you rights that cannot be waived), you keep those protections, including any right to bring a claim where you live.
If we have a problem, please email us first at mia@narrastory.com so we can try to fix it together.
